Muddy4x4.com and Muddy4x4.co.uk were started by a chap from Somerset, England back in late 2001. He added content from his trips around the UK with his friends and family. By early 2003, the responsibilities of the family caused the site to become updated less frequently. In late 2003, he sold the web sites to the current owners in Aberdeen, Washington.

We are in the process of updating the look and feel of the web site and compiling new content. During this year you will see a substantial increase in the content available for you to view. If you have some 4x4 photos, 4x4 videos, 4x4 articles or if you just want to tell us about your last 4x4 outing, please send us an email.

If you just want to let us know what you like or don't like about the new look, or if you just want to say howdy, we want to hear from YOU.

We have been driving, modifying, breaking and fixing 4x4's for over 20 years. We have owned 4x4's made by Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, Jeep, Land Rover and Mazda. Our current rig is a stock 2005 4x4 Mazda Tribute/Ford Escape.
